The museum collections in Škocjan village and in the Delez homestead were visited by more than 8000 people in the last year. These received the Valvasor Museology Award in 2006.
 
 
The geological, biological and archeological collections in the Delez homestead situated in the village of Škocjan, opened their doors to visitors in 2006. These collections were recognised and received a Valvazor award. Visitors will be able to see the original stones from the Classical Karst area with very interessting fossils. They will also be able to see a part of the underground biological diversity, a section of the terrain and will be able to peak into the past, when this area was extremely important.
In two renovated barns in Škocjan you will find the exhibition devoted to the history of exploring the Škocjan Caves and Ethnology exhibition.
